About The Event
In September, United Nations Association of Broward County (UNA Broward) will recognize socially responsible citizens making tangible impact towards economic development, environmental conservancy, and social equity. The categories are according the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and there will be one honoree per Goal.
UNA Broward has celebrated the United Nations Day for 32 years, and since the creation of the SDGs in 2017, the event has been a join effort. Now in Sept. 2023, we are separating the efforts, by retaking this in-person fundraiser event to highlight the people who are making the difference in Broward County and virtually celebrating United Nations Day October.
